More affected companies and workers urged to apply as DOLE expands coverage of CAMP

City of San Fernando, PAMPANGA, December 7, 2020 - The Department of Labor and Employment Central Luzon encouraged more establishments and individuals to apply to the second tranche of COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program under the Bayanihan To Recover As One Act (CAMP Bayanihan-2).

In a recently issued labor advisory, DOLE has expanded the coverage of the said program to include those that implemented flexible work arrangements after April 15, freelance workers, and even beneficiaries of CAMP under DOLE Department Order No. 209, s. 2020 during Bayanihan 1.

Regional Director Ma. Zenaida Angara-Campita said that prior to Labor Advisory 30-A, s. 2020, recipients of CAMP-Bayanihan 1 were disqualified because of their ineligibility. “In light of the recent advisory, we are now accepting applications from CAMP 1 beneficiaries as well as independent contractors. It is important to note that we still follow the order of priority under D.O. 218,” RD Campita explained.

As of December 7, 67,547 workers in Region 3 benefited from CAMP-Bayanihan 2 with a total released amount of P337.735 million.

Requirements for freelancers include a copy of himself/herself holding a valid government-issued ID and a copy of BIR Form 2303, ITR, or copy of latest service agreement/contract covering March 17 onwards.

The online application system can be accessed at
