City of San Fernando, PAMPANGA, January 11 - The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. III urges all applicants of the SSS unemployment benefit to request the certificate of involuntary separation online.
According to DOLE Regional Director Geraldine M. Panlilio, the current surge of COVID-19 remains a challenge but is already ‘manageable’ compared to its first surge. “We have adopted many methods to digitize our processes. Now we are adding the request for certificate of involuntary separation to that list,” Panlilio mentioned.
Requirements to obtain the DOLE certificate of involuntary separation are: (1) transaction number provided by SSS, (2) one valid identification document with signature and photo, and (3) copy of notice of termination or affidavit of termination of employment. In some cases, certificate of pending case and/or police report may also be required.
To request the said certificate from DOLE, applicants may submit the requirements by sending an email to the respective field offices below:
